Flash 8 external links don't work when embedded in a webpage

I have a Flash 8 swf (http://images.true-design.com/Website/hydrateflash1.swf) which correctly goes to external website links on its own.  However, when it is embedded in its destination page (http://truedesignmarketing.com/) the external links no longer work.  I have the links in the Flash set up as behaviors which go to the sites on release.

Are they by any chance blocked by a popup blocker?

Try installing a javascript debugger (firebug for firefox is an excellent one) and see if you get any javascript errors when posting the links.

Also, it might be a good idea to post an example of how you have built your links so that we can see if there is anything wrong with them.

I have built entire sites in Flash/AS and I have never had any trouble redirecting from ActionScript.

Try removing the fully qualified path to the swf in your html object and make it relative (i.e if the swf is in the same folder as the html change both occurrences of "http://images.true-design.com/Website/hydrateflash1.swf" to "hydrateflash1.swf"

The swf file was originally in a different location than the html, but I moved it and changed the html to a relative path. It worked right away.  Thank you!
