I am looking for some visual tutorials online for encase.  Basically, I was wondering if anyone knew of any sites that provided base tutorials for Encase.  I am doing this project at work so both youtube and myspace are not available.  Any suggestions?

A similar question was asked once before and the answer to the visual tutorials (videos) question was basically youtube, which doesn't help you while you are at work.

If you have any specific questions as to how to perform a task, perhaps I can help you with that.  I see that you posted a question about network acquisitions, so perhaps that's a place to start.

I will now shamelessly repost the answer that I gave with regards to this when that question was asked:

Detailed Tutorials: The Encase Study Guide to their EncaseCertification is a good place to start. It has a very good breakdown ofcomputer forensics, and how to use the tool to do computer forensics. It also comes with a DVD that has a version of encase that will workonly with the disc images provided on the DVD.
EnCase Computer Forensics, includes DVD: The Official EnCE: EnCase Certified Examiner Study Guide "

GoodSites:  Does your company/institution own a copy of Encase? If so, youcould likely have them create you an account on Guidance Software'sinternal support site.  This has many resources and forums devoted toEncase and the other GS products.  This should also grant you access tobe able to download the user manuals, which are pretty good.

OnlinePractice Labs: None that I know of.  However you could also callGuidance, explain your situation and ask for a Demo CD of theirsoftware which also is limited to the images on the CD.  They likelyalso have literature and demos that showcase the capabilities of Encasethat they can send and/or show you.

Note: I am not an employee of GS, but I am Encase Certified as a Forensic Examiner.

Good luck! Encase is a very powerful tool with many many features.
