Citrix web certificate

Recently our certificate for our citrix web portal expired and we replaced it with a new one on the IIS but we still get a message when trying to connect.

Cannot connect to the Citrix XenApp server.
SSL error 61: You have not chosen to trust "thawte premium server ca", the issuer of the server's security certificate.

Does something need to be applied to the Citrix Server?

Just a guess... do the clients live behind a proxy and could that proxy be blocking access to that certificates CRL list?

no proxy, they connect through a cisco asa device.

they get to the nfuse site just fine and the certificate shows up correctly. it is when you click on one of the applications to launch they get this error.

i noticed that from home I was getting a different error message than at work. I got an SSL 70 error which stated the certificate was out of date but its not. I just renewed it which cause this problem.

is there something that needs to be done on the citrix side?

I now noticed this message I get after logging into the nfuse site where the cert was installed.

"Your applications have not been reconnected. Your farms do not support workspace control or do not trust the server. "

    Accepted Solution

    well i figured it out.

i'm no citrix admin for sure so I found this citrix gateway also needed to have the cert applied.

    "no points for you!"
