Blurred images in Adobe Premiere

We have several images in our sequence that look fine in the previewer when they are still but when they are playing they look blurry.

I tried a few things but they are still blurry, even after rendering and saving the sequence.

How can we get the images to look crisp and not blurry when playing?

What kind of images are they? Don't use bitmats, use good resolution jpegs.

Thank you for your reply. They are high resolution jpegs.

We also used average res jpegs and they did the same. It is basically the same for any image we use in the video. It looks shaky when it plays but fine when not being played.

I'd suggest there is something wrong with Premiere. This is very rare. Just for a test, try a different editor -- to see if something else insn't happening with your PC. There's lots of free trials -- even Windows Movie Maker.

Pictures look great in Windows Movie Maker. We just bought Premiere CS4 and installed it. We haven't used it before. Also, this computer is top of the line. 2 terabyte hard drive and 4 GB of ram.

Alright, I solved it. It was a problem with the playback setting. I got in and found out how adobe handled aspect ratio conversion. So i just disabled it and changed it from interlaced frame to repeat frame and now it looks great.

Thanks for your help!
