Distribution Groups Created in Exchange 2007

I am migrating from Exchange 2003 to 2007.  When I create a Distribution Group from Exchange 2007, I cannot get E-mail from the internet even though my E-mail Filter shows that it has been received.  If I create a DG from the Exchange 2003 server, I can receive mail from the internet.  By the way, I can receive mail internally.

Does the group show in ADUC on the Exchange 2003 server with an email address?
