Mobile Admin creates new default site
I have read the posts here on this site but they do not work for me. The post number ID: 22692068. I also tried the post from http://sbs.seandaniel.com/2006/02/using-microsoft-exchange-server.html
That does not work. The install keeps creating a new default site and stops my main one. I have spent 3 hours on this installing and uninstalling. Changing the Directory Security AFTER the install does not change the fact that a new default site was created. I am running SP2 on SBS 2003.

But I have to change the port number to something like 8090 for it to work. The "wipe" and "delete" functions don't work and I thought that was in part due to the fact that it was in the wrong default site. I click them but nothing happens. Like a dead link.

I could do that as long as I am sure it will not cause OWA and iPhone connectivity to die. Though I can back it up, with the wizard create a new one with the services from the old one? I will try it now.

Did not work using the Internet and Email wizard. I am now running the Best Practices Analyzer.

I ran the BPA and took snap shots of the 3 items related to Exchange and the Virtual Server. I had 11 Issues total and of those, most were neither relative nor critical. Please see attached jpg's.

I did a machine restart and all was healed.

After restarting the system, the install went fine.
However it shouldn't conflict with the default site unless you have changed something about the default site.
