1. Open IE as admin, and open Internet Options page. <br />
2. In Security tab, uncheck &quot;Enable Protected Mode&quot; box. <br />

i tried the link, but the registry entry was not there, and the re-registration of the .dll succeeded, but did not solve the problem. &nbsp;also, i had already tried disabling protected mode box, and adding the site to the trusted sites list.

no dice on the solutions in the link. &nbsp;4125 is forwarded as the other people can access their machines. &nbsp;I don't see the RDP activeX. &nbsp;I'm suspecting that it's corrupted. &nbsp;You have any idea how to remove it and manually re-install the ActiveX module?

yeah, that didn't work, that's the same stuff over again. &nbsp;I have a ticket in with MS about it, maybe they can give me some insight here. &nbsp;I haven't found anything on how to manually install the RDP or TS ActiveX for Vista...

The corrupted profile issue recurred twice more. &nbsp;Again, with each new profile it was fixed.<br />

I ended up wiping the machine clean and reinstalling a clean version of Vista. &nbsp;I patched the machine completely, installed no antivirus or any other third party software, and the problem recurred even with the fresh install. &nbsp;After disabling the tcp window scaling, &quot;netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled&quot; from the command prompt, it began working again.

I have a client is able to access the RWW portal (albiet pretty slow loading), but once she tries to connect to her desktop ANY machine at the office, it fails with a &quot;VBScript: Remote Desktop Disconnected. &nbsp;The client could not connect to the remote computer.&quot;<br />

This is a Vista Home Basic laptop with all patches applied. &nbsp;The SBS has a new SSL certificate by GoDaddy, could that be the problem? &nbsp;That maybe the old key should be removed or something?<br />

Also, in the system log, there is an Error from Source: Microsoft-Windows-HttpEven<wbr />t &nbsp;and the Descriptions says: &nbsp;Unable to initialize the security package Kerberos for server side authentication. &nbsp;The data field contains the error number.<br />
