Slow shutdown speed in SBS Premium 2008

rjjacques asked
Last Modified: 2012-05-06
I just installed SBS Premium 2008 on a Dell PE2900 server 2.66Ghz Quad with 4 GB RAM. I installed the video drivers and did a restart. It tooks a good 5 minutes, maybe more (didn't use a timewatch) for WIndows to shutdown. This makes no sense and it is not acceptable.

Anyone has an idea on how to speed things up ?
