You cannot share SCSI devices like that.<br />
You can share a library that is in a SAN (connected to a switch FC ) between 2 media servers using the SAN SSO option.<br />
You cannot share the library by directly connecting it to 2 servers.<br />

We have a Dell powervault 124T that has on it 2 SCSI connections, 1 is already in use on a live system<br />

We would like to use this tape library on the test system too (both using backup exec) and are getting fedup with having to swap the cables over....<br />

Can we just purchase another cable and hook it upto the other system? or will the two interfaces interfere?
