When you add a new field is Access does not update the existing records, this has to be done manually.<br />
You can try and set the DefaultValue to Null but this should not be impacting it.<br />
Can you try and remove the inputMask to see if this is affecting it's behaviour.<br />

1)You can make by using the table wizard<br />

Thanks LMSC. &nbsp;This was a rookie error. &nbsp;I used a field in my DB that was no longer needed. &nbsp;The old field had &quot;0&quot; as its default. &nbsp;When I changed the field to a date field, all the records had 12/30/1899. &nbsp;I used a update querry to reset all records to &quot;null&quot;. &nbsp;Everything is working fine. &nbsp;Thanks for your help.<br />

Hello Experts,
