This command will delete all files with .mp3, .wmv and .wav extensions (and won't delete directories if they have such extension) in /home/ directory.<br />

If you don't want to preserve files for few users, then you have to run this command separately on each user's home directory (find /home/user1/ -type ...., find /home/user2/ -type...., etc).

thank you very much for the reply , have doubt setting up &nbsp;veto files in samba share i,e few users should be able to save , mp3 , wav, wma etc but remaining users should be completed denied , please tell me can this be done , thanks in advance

I have not tested this in practice, but you could try an approach like this:<br />

Create a group for users who should be able to do this, and a group for users who shouldn't. Lets say we call it mp3allowed and mp3banned. Now create two additional config files in /etc/samba: homes-mp3allowed.conf and homes-mp3banned.conf. (The second part of the config file must be exactly the same as the group name).<br />
<br />
Then remove the [homes] share section from smb.conf and place it in both those files. In the homes-mp3banned.conf file, add the veto entry.<br />
<br />
In smb.conf, place the following include statement:<br />

Include /etc/samba/homes-%G.conf<br />
<br />
That will make samba include the homes-mp3banned.conf file for the one group, and then homes-mp3allowed.conf for the other group and should solve your problem. (Rather: I think so, give it a go and see if it works)
