Spider diagrams in LaTeX

I wish to have what is essentially a spider diagram in my LaTeX document. Now rather than create a graphic of one in some other program, and then import it, is there a way to produce one directly in LaTeX? (I've not really done any graphic work with it before...)

Thanks

Can attach some sample diagram you want to create directly in LaTeX?

Something like this would be perfect:

(Although I'm not particularly fussed, as long as the structure is clear)
