On your server, double click and logon to HP System Management home page. After login, you should see the link for processors under System. Click on that link, it will give you all of your processors information.<br />
You can also obtain the information via ILO and SIM (System Insight Management as the above suggestion)<br />

I have an HP Proliant Server that currently has one CPU in it and space for another. &nbsp;How do I determine the type of CPU that I need? &nbsp;I was under the impression that when a Server/PC has two CPU's they need to match perfectly. &nbsp;I've looked on the CPU itself but the numbers there are vague. &nbsp;I've listed all the information that I have below. &nbsp;Any assistance would be greatly appreciated in establishing the exact model# of the CPU I need. &nbsp;Thanks in advance.<br />

How do I determine the type of CPU that I have?

Servers are computing devices that are similar to desktop computers in that they have the same basic components, but are significantly different in size, configuration and purpose.
