Outlook font size changing when creating/replying a message
"when I open a new email message or reply to someones email message the font automatically changes (even my salutation which is preset) to a font size of like 6 &so a standard email message from someone else can be full size at 12 font the second I click on reply or forward the entire email becomes that small 6 font size. I am not sure how this happened but it is so annoying because it keeps coming back. hope you can help me on this." this what my client told me. i cant also figure out how to tackle this. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

This is only happening when you reply, forward or create a new message then I would try deleting the siganture that has been created and then reply to or forward an email and see if it happens. If it does not happen then the problem is with the signature and the way it is setup. Hope this helps.

Just a quick note - the signature has been there for at least 2 years now.

Nope. it didnt work. its still small. We checked the font size thats set and its much bigger than what the user is seeing.
Check Tools-Options-Mail Format-Fonts-When replying and forwarding.

They are set the same as before and larger than what the user is seeing. the funny thing is the recipient wont see it change. it will be the font on which the user used to send the message.

Silly question, but are those fonts still in the system? Can you check that the name correspond to correct font? Can he use the same font in other application, like Word?

reply, forward or create a new message - uses the view that the user set (zoom size). no changes to the fonts and everything is back to normal. She is using the defaults. thanks for all your responses.
