TNMHTTP works fine on two of my machines. Somehow it just does not work on one of my clients' machine. I have tested on my machine with Proxy and it seems to work too. Now, I suspect to be port number or others. I have the port number as zero. Anyone knows whether it could be a port number issue. Sorry, I just can't test on my client machine because I was using desktop sharing to see the problem. I need someone to give me definitive answer.<br />

When you mean it does not work, what exactly doesn't work. Retrieving any data at all ? What are you trying to request? And why is the port set to 0? That's not going to work. Your server is serving files over a port, this is the port you should be connecting to from the client and this is the port that should be open (incoming) in the firewall.

From what I saw from my client's machine, it just does retrieve any data and it didn't give me any exceptions. I was using the default port number which is 0 and the program is working on my computer. I see people talking about setting to 80. I just wonder that will make a difference because some machines or their ISP blocks the port 0. I don't know. That is why I need a confirmation for you experts.<br />

You can save the files using a custom application with TNMHTTP and see what is happening...<br />

I like the idea. However, It is impossible for me to test that because it only happens on the client's machine and I don't want to bother the client to test it myself. Especially the client is not a tech savvy. I was using a desktop sharing program to see the actions on his computer and it took forever for me to control his computer. I just wish someone knows the answer and has the similar experience.<br />

I don't know about that. I have been researching online. Do you think that ISP can block the port to make TNMHTTP not working. I know that it does not give me the exceptions. From I saw from the client machine, it looks that the TNMHTTP works all right but not get the right content. I've found a way to get around it by not using TNMHTTP for this client. However, that is just not a good solution. Anybody out there knows about IPS and port blocking to help me answer this question. If it is not port blocking, then I just don't know what is going on. By the way, I have experienced this with other clients who use work computers and I thought the company firewall blocked it.<br />
