Need assistance identifying what is causing Sqwebmail to send email slowly

Last Modified: 2013-12-02
I have an older Redhat server running an older version of Hsphere. When using Outlook to send/receive emails we have no problems. The problem is when using Sqwebmail to try to send an email it takes about 2 minutes to send. It always sends successfully, but sometimes sqwebmail reports "Error Server replied: 354 " yet still sends the email. I've used Top to monitor the processes while trying to send, and I do not see anything spike. I've monitored /varlog/maillog and the only log that appears comes in stating the email has been sent (once webmail stops loading and reports the email sent). I'm looking for guidance in finding why Sqwebmail is taking so long to send. I've included a screenshot of the 354 error.
