Default for Option Group with Access 2007 form

I have an option group for which i want the default to be "no": When I open the form I want the "no" option to be selected.
When the field is set to false (no), 4 fields disappear on the form. So, I want the form to open w/out those 4 fields showing.
Appearantly, the form and/or table is not setup correctly.
What bases do I need to have covered to make this happen (I'm using VBA).
