server 2008 terminal services wont accept outside connections
Hi guys,
I am trying to set up server 2008 standard terminal services.
I went through the wizard and set everything up smoothly (with a self signed ssl certificate) users within the office could then connect to the terminal over the lan without any problems.
I changed the port forwarding to point RDP and SSL away from the SBS (which it was working on) to the IP of the new terminal.
licensing seems to be working, the gateway seems to be working (set up with a connection and resource authorisation policy that accepts all domain users)
when trying to connect to the terminal from an outside connection people are getting an error saying that the server cannot be found.
I disabled the windows firewall and made sure there was no other firewall software on the terminal server but this did not help.
I was wondering if anyone else has had any ideas around this or has had a similar problem.
Cheers guys.
