Hi All,
I have cisco firewall 520 running version 6.3, I had a power failure and now im unable to ping oe telnet any interfaces which were working fine perior to the power, the pix 520 is booting with three beeps ( 1 long and 2 short ), I tried to connect a console port but no luck, even the console is not working and it not displaying any thing in the screen, please advise in how I can fix this problem.

plz confirm,,when you connect your console,, did you check to reboot it and check what you get while connecting the console??

Nothing is coming while connecting the console and rebooting.

I have tried remoiving the RAM , is this what u mean?

- does its Fan working ok??
- Is the console cable the correct one? To make sure it is the correct one, check whether or not the console cable and the PC serial port work on another device, such as a Cisco IOS® router. If another device is not available, compare the ends of the cable side by side. The cable should be rolled, with the wire colors exactly reversed. If necessary, also check whether or not the console port works with a different PC.

the fans are working fine and the console is working fine with other cisco routers

I think its something with the boot process,what do you think?
did you try to hit CTRL + BREAK after rebooting ??
