asp.net menu with role-based sub-menus

Right now, I have an ASP.NET 2.0 menu control that has a datasource that's an XML file.  The menu has items like "Accounting", "Management", "Direct Mail".   Under each of these is a pop-up drop-down menu.

Here's what I need:  If a user is logged and has a session variable "Accounting" set to true, display the Accounting sub-menu.  If they have the session variable "Management" set to true, display the "Management" menu.  A user may belong to multiple roles (about 5 of them), so we must check for all of them.

What's the best way to approach this?  I don't want to create XML files for all of the possible combinations.  I just want to display/hide certain submenus when needed.
