asked on Need Mcafee enterprise 8.5i removal tool
I am moving away from Mcafee as our vendor for antivirus. I have a number of PCs that I need a removal tool for the enterprise version 8.5i. I did find MCPR.exe which I ran, but then I get a message "McAfee Enterprise software detected. Cannot continue. Please contactr Mcafee Technical Support."
I have also googled "8.5i removal tool" without much success other than a lengthly manual removal procedure. I don't have the time to do the manual removal.
Is there any removal tool that is available. Many thanks in advance for your help.

Hey guys....sorry it took so long to get back to you. Yes, I am familar with both of your solutions...In the final analysis I just removed Mcafee 8.1 via control panel and that did the trick. Many thanks again
