I have a stored procedure that using a cursor.  The stored proc is used to populate a Crystal Report.  The Crystal Report errors with the cursor and runs OK without the cursor.  Is there anyway to get around this?

I have included the code for the cursor.
declare @duppolicy varchar(12)
declare acursor CURSOR FOR

select policyno from RemitPlusPayments Where Status = 3
open acursor
Fetch acursor into @duppolicy

	While @@Fetch_Status = 0
	Begin

Select * from ppols where renold = @duppolicy
    	if @@RowCount > 0
      	Begin
Update RemitPlusPayments Set status = 6 Where policyno = @duppolicy
	End
Fetch acursor into @duppolicy
end

close acursor
deallocate acursor
