How can you put a quickbooks pro 2009 data file on another computer

Setting up a client on a new network with a server (2003).  With previous versions of quickbooks you can put the data file anywhere on the network, but quickbooks pro 2009 won't load it.  Says you need a multi-user license.  We don't need multi-users.   There is only one user, but it only makes sense to have the data files on the server where they are on more reliable hardware and are included in server backups.

Is there a known work around to having single user quickbooks pro 2009 files on a different computer from the application?
