Access MSysRelationships Administer Permission

I am showing that the MSysRelationships table is owned by 'engine', and I am showing current user is 'Admin'

Everytime I try to change perms for MSysRelationships, I get the 'you don't have permissions error'

What am I doing wrong?

System tables are excluded from Access's security - they cannot be changed by anyone.

What are you trying to do with the relationships?

I am doing a conversion to another db.

The instructions were to enable visibility, then add administer or read priveliges to the MSys tables

If I export the tables to a fresh access db, I have no problems doing the procedure to the MSysRelationships, etc tables.
Your help has saved me hundreds of hours of internet surfing.

It doesn't make any difference what you do to the permissions in the security dialog.
You will not be able to change the tables or data no matter what permissions you grant, and you can already read the data without the permissions being set.

As peter said, you cannot alter permissions on those tables ... I'm not sure where you got those "instructions", but they are wrong.
