Image Stitching in C#

Hello, hoping someone can point me in the right direction on if it's possible to stitch imagery using c#?

I'm taking pictures and putting them together to make really huge images and I'd write something to do it for me if I could figure out how!! I'm not so concerned with contrast and brightness because the photos are all taken within a very short timeframe and under the same lighting conditions. I just need to know how to find where the different photos overlap.

lots of tools available but not what I need

thanks in advance, eager to learn and this one is hard so lots of points

thanks in advance!!

yeah I realize this is a complicated task, looking for direction mostly.

Your first scenerio is what I'm trying to find or build, something you can just call by passing in the photos you want stitched, then it figures out how to put them together regardless of the order they are passed in or where in relation to another would it would be stitched. And yes, to build panaramic pictures.

I'm already just using photoshop plus there are tons of other tools I'm not so interested that I want to rebuild something there...

"Imagine processing" is an obvious search term I ignored. I think that will help lots right there.

Your help has saved me hundreds of hours of internet surfing.
