The solution you have given to me is not useful.i have been facing this problem from some time. Some of my pc login without dns entry.
Just because some computers do log on without the DNS entry doesn't mean that you are doing it right.
You are doing it wrong and anyone who knows anything about Windows networking will tell you the same thing.
Each PC MUST be configured with an IP address of the domain controller as the DNS server entry.

So you are suggesting Active Directory does not require DNS?

If you READ about Active Directory, you will see it is REQUIRED.  Not having it setup properly can cause delays in accessing network resources or an inability to access resources.  People have misconfigured DNS all the time... and when they do, they have these problems.  And not just client DNS settings - your servers must also be setup properly.
Mods, I dont think that any further zones will help this user get teh result they are looking for.... From above.....

"Each PC MUST be configured with an IP address of the domain controller as the DNS server entry."

"If you READ about Active Directory, you will see it is REQUIRED"

Pretty much sums it up. When they hard coded the DNS server as the primary DNS, it fixed the problem, and set it how it is SUPPOSED to be.

I bhonestly think there is no further action here that we can take.....

All the expert asnwers haven't provied the correct solution...please close this question.

Thanks
