I should point out:<br />

ANY folder called &quot;system32&quot; will be skipped.... it wont distinguish that you only wanted the windows one ignored if it finds another one located elsewhere.<br />

This will BAKCUP your data, but NOT DUPLICATE your drive. You wont be able to take the copy of a drive and plug it in and have it work.<br />
<br />
Try using these switches as well: /R:5 /W:10<br />
(Retry 5 times, Waith 10 seconds between trys)<br />
If you dont do this then robocopy will: TRY AGAIN to copy a file if it cant access it - 1 Million times, waiting 30seconds between trys.<br />
<br />
Once the retry limit has been reached, robocopy will skip the file and move on (you can set retrys to 0)<br />
<br />
if you are looking to duplicate your drive, you need a different tool such as Ghost.

AS FAR AS I KNOW ROBOCOPY DOES NOT RECOPY ALL THE FILES AGAIN... <br />
IT WILL CHECK IF IT EXISTS ON THE DESTINATION WITH THE SAME TIMESTAMP <br />
IT WILL NOT COPY IT RIGHT ?<br />
SO WHAT IS THE USE OF /XO ?

If you change any file at the destination and run robocopy it will copy file over again (even if it's newer). /XO will prevent overwriting the newer files at the destination.<br />
