Fax Server software

Hi Experts

I'm looking for some server side faxing software. We have 3rd party software that will create faxes and output them to Tobit, currently. We are moving to SBS2003 with Outlook and attempting to get rid of tobit... as its currently intsalled on the Netware server they have.

I'm looking for faxing package, that can handle the management of faxes.
We currently send out on 2 fax lines, simultaneously and receive already onto the SBS server.

Can anyone suggest any software that we can use to manage the faxing?
I really want to move from Tobit, but just so i know...are there any complications of using Tobit with Outlook on the client PCs?

Hi

Thanks for your quick reply...

We are using 'David 5' on the netware Environment... Does this mean I can migrate it onto a windows server for no extra cost?
I have spoken to a supplier of a package that works with the tobit faxing service on netware and they are saying that it is possible to only install the fax services onto a windows server and not use the email functionality.

Also, they are saying that it is quite possible to install the Tobit FAX console onto the workstation, which will have no ill-effects with Outlook.

I am looking to have Outlook as the email software.
I would like the fax client (tobit) to be installed on 2-3 client's desktops, but I dont want it interfering with the Outlook client. Is that possible? The person I spoke to say that it is?

Anyone got more suggestions/answers??! :)
Hi Mark,

My sincere apologies for not getting back to you.  You can install that version on Windows without it interfering with the e-mail.  The e-mail of Tobit is performed by the Postman service - you can either stop that service entirely or specifiy that it listens on a different port.  To perform the latter, edit the POSTMAN.INI file in the DAVID\APPS\POSTMAN\CODE directory of the installation and alter/create the PORT= parameter.
