Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 / Strips text from .XLS, .DOC attachments

I'm using Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 and it seems to strip all text from .XLS / .DOC attachments (Not all of them, but some of them, it likes all the attachments created on this pc, yet strips text from different external senders) in such a way so that when i open an attached file its' completely blank. Also when using the save as feature it save the file as a 0kb file.
Now i can get around it by turning of SED client and opening the attachmenet but im looking for a more pernament fix.

I have following Turned on File System Auto Protect/ Microsoft Outlook Protect / TruScan Proactive Threat. I will paste screenshots with settings under these sections if necessary.

Looking for advice on how to stop symantec from stripping the text as well as looking or a pointer towards the right log which will tell me what is symantec suspecting these files to be.
