Sounds like you are using client-side script already, which normally is javascript (client-side vbscript is only supported by IE and hardly used - IE also supports client-side javascript).<br />
<br />
Now VB (not VBScript) is a server-side language which can be used in ASP.Net. But you can not use VB on the client.<br />
<br />
Using (client-side) javascript, is would be the easiest to have a click on the row, toggle an attribute of the row and then adapt the mouseout function to also respond to the value of that attribute.

Are we all saying that i cannot use vb for this function? &nbsp;i've already got the mouseover, mouseout and onclick working correctly isn't there a simple way to turn off the mouseout and mouseover after the onclick.<br />

i use mouseover and mouseout which work great but once a user clcks a row i would like that row to stay highlighted until the user clicks that row again. &nbsp;my idea was to turn mouse out and mouseover off after the onclick has occured...any ideas using VB.<br />
