I back up my hdd by simply copying my documents folder 300 GB to an external drive. It is primitive but it dose a good job without any backup software.
But there is a problem - sometimes copying stops just because
windows cant copy a file - too long path / name of a file.
Is there anyway of copying that would recreate even the longest/deepest folders and file names?
Is there a way / piece of software that could check the folder structure and suggest a fix - if folder structure is too long / deep or file has a too long name?
