How To Send 1 Million Emails Per Month...

Hello -

My company has a need to send 1 Million emails per month using SMTP.  The recipients are people that signed up requesting the email (we're not spamming).  I don't want our corporate email to get blacklisted so here's what I'm thinking.

- purchase 2-3 hosted servers (i.e. GoDaddy, etc.) (different IP ranges and providers)
- use a public IP with a valid MX record on those servers
- purchase a domain name specifically for this purpose
- validate the recipient addresses before sending the emails (reduce bounce-backs)
- implement Domain Keys Identified Mail & Sender Policy Framework
- request white listing on Yahoo, AOL, etc.
- throttle the delivery of the emails and delay retries
- offer unsubscribe option to recipient

Did I miss anything?  How do I setup DKIM & SPF?  Is this something I buy, like a SSL cert, or something you configure on the server?
