Hi,

I have recently installed SBS 2008 standard. There were no setup errors in the logs, and the domain is working fine. However, the Exchange Management Console reports the following error when I try to start it:
--------------------------------------------------------
Microsoft Exchange Error
--------------------------------------------------------
The following error(s) were reported while loading topology information:

get-ExchangeServer
Failed
Error:
Active Directory server SERVER.mydomain.local is not available. Error message: A local error occurred.

A local error occurred.

get-UMServer
Failed
Error:
Active Directory server SERVER.mydomain.local is not available. Error message: A local error occurred.

A local error occurred.
--------------------------------------------------------
OK
--------------------------------------------------------

I have run dcdiag to see where the problem lies, and got the following resutls:

It looks to be SystemLog, but have checked all services and everything looks to be running as it should. All automatic services are running and mail is being sent and received on the domain.

I would be grateful if anyone could guide me in the right direction to sort this problem out. I need to add an email alias to a user ASAP!

Thank you.
