Outlook - How do I get rid of a mail item in my outlook box

Hi all,

We tried to send out a mail item with a very large attachment. It started to send but now is stuck in the outbox. If I try to delete it seems to think it's in the middle of transmitting, even though no Send / Receive has been issued.

How can I get rid of this mail item in the outbox folder?

NOTE: I'm an experienced Access VBA programmer but I've never used VBA with outlook. If a VBA solution is required, please take me through how to initiate it. If a NON-VBA solution will do it, I'd appreciate that as well.
