But do you have any ideas as to why all of a sudden this screen started popping up? I have been using Outlook for years. I did upgrade to a newer version but that was over a month ago and this screen has been popping up for about 2 weeks now.

Don't really know - my best guess is that there was a default 'stored' under the hood from the old version, and it either timed out, or your machine got a new dhcp lease with a new ip address, and when it tried to reconfigure itself, it couldnt find the identity...

All of a sudden the Identity Login screen has been coming up when I open up Outlook. I have never used identities and there is only Main Identity listed. There is no password for Main Identity as far as I can tell. Have to hit cancel and then the window goes away. In Manage Identities, Use this identity when starting a program is unchecked and I checked it to see if the login screen goes away and it doesn't. Main Identity is listed in Use this identity when a program cannot ask you to choose an identty. It is a nuisance.
