Intel Raid 5 very slow with copy 1-3Mb pro second
I've problems with copy data from my old server to the new one. I can copy with a speed of 1-3mb pro second.
Configuration:
3x 400Gb in Raid 5 Seagate ST3400632NS
Intel SRCS16 Sata Raid Controller
What could it be?

Are you copying lots of very small files ? If this is the case, these speeds can be considered "normal".
If you're copying larger files and still only get 3MB/s, there's probably something wrong.
So let us know how big the average file size is and also how exactly you copy the data.

The average is about 0,5 and 1Mb.

You are right we didn't have a cache battery.
