View Contents of Multiple Folders

Is it possible to create a "virtual" folder that shows the contents of all the other selected folders.

Let's assume:
c:\Folder1 contains file A and File B
c:\Folder2 contains file c

I would like to view files a.b.c all in one "virtual" folder and have that folder avail to windows.

All these folders would be on the same drive.

Yes....it is called DFS.  If you create a namespace, you can add DFS links that will add multiple folders (shares) together as one folder to the end user.

DFS is server functionality... not XP and this query is XP related

But the asker may have access to Server licenses, eg TechNet, and has a spare machine to setup a basic domain, w/ DFS functionality..... You never know.....

This is the best money I have ever spent. I cannot not tell you how many times these folks have saved my bacon. I learn so much from the contributors.

Thank you all for your comments. I do not have access to a server at this location so it needs to be something that works in xp pro.

is perfect. Do you know of anything free?

Are you running a domain or workgroup.  You do NOT need to have servers at a location to use DFS.  You just need to be apart of a domain.
