That is a page fault error. However the error code doesn't give anything more of interest. Could be hardware, that is the most likely cause. <br />

So if the machine is virtual, the hardware of the host? In this case would I see similar errors on the other machines on the hosts I wonder.... <br />

OK many thanks. I dont think it has happened before on that box from looking in the event log. May be it was just one of those things. I will keep my eye on it, will also apply the exchange roll up which I spotted is waiting to be installed. <br />

Hello, on Friday my Exchange 2007 reboot itself &nbsp;in the middle of the day the error was<br />

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. &nbsp;<br />
The bugcheck was: <br />
0x00000050 (0xfffffae10f29f8b0, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff8000104c176, 0x0000000000000005). <br />
A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP.<br />

There does not appear to be any reason for this and it says <br />

The system shutdown at 13:43:34 27/02/2009 was unexpected.<br />
<br />
There does not appear to be any unusual entries before this or anything. The box is a Windows 2003 server x64 running Exchange 2007. Its running on ESX Server in a virtual environment. <br />

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter.
