Problems with SSL Certificate on SBS 2008

Hi

I am in the final process of migrating a network from SBS 2003 to SBS 2008.  I am pleased to report that the migration has been successful apart from an SSL certificate error i am experiencing.

The remote web space is not working, i unassigned the certificate as the name was reporting wrong but it won't let me add it back, the self issued certificate.

When i run the Add a trusted certificate wizard, I then select install a certificate that is already installed on this server, I select the self issued certificate, I am then displayed with an error:
Import the trusted certificate to remote web workspace.
The imported certificate does not match your website, verify you have selected the correct certificate file, and then try again.

I then run the fix my network wizard, i am displayed with two errors:
1) No certificate is bound to the IIS Web Site
2) A network component is not configured properly. (Component ID 4)

When the wizard tries to fix the issues i receive the following errors:
1) No certificate is bound to the IIS Web Site
Cannot bind a certificate to the IIS web site. run iisreset.exe and try again, which i have attempted and I am displayed with the same error.
2) A network component is not configured properly. (Component ID 4)
Directs me to Microsoft website for more info:
Component ID #4

If the Fix My Network wizard shows that component ID #4 is broken, this means that the TSGateway service is not configured to correctly use the SSL certificate configured within IIS. Continuing to fix this error within the wizard will configure TSGateway property to use the SSL certificate configured inside of IIS and restart the TSGateway service so it will pick up the correct certificate.

Any suggestions on how I can get the SSL Certificate working again?

thanks.
