We have a Backup Server which seems to be corrupt. But that is an issue on its own that despite many attempts we have failed to resolve and not the subject of this question.
The current Backup Server uses EMC Retrospect v7.6.123 for its core backup operations.
We are about to change the Backup Server (for the reasons stated earlier) by installing new OS on a separate Partition/HD. The old Partition/HD will be REMOVED from the system for safe keeping!!
Since this is merely a backup server, that is not a difficult task but there is one item that will make things much easier and that is if there is a way to save and transfer the current Retrospect settings (by settings I am referring to: Volumes, Scripts, Preference Settings, etc..) to the new installation of Retrospect.
So, in summary, my question is: If there is a way to transfer settings of the current Retrospect to the new installation of Retrospect in the new Backup Server?
