Are they using some type of KVM switch to share the keyboard/mouse/monitor? &nbsp;I've seen this happen with older KVM switches sometimes. &nbsp;You could have them check the connections carefully to make sure they are secure. &nbsp;However, I'm not sure that will help. Unfortunately if it's a problem with the KVM switch, the only thing that fixes it usually is a reboot, and then it will recur after a while anyway. &nbsp;If the server is functioning fine and they don't necessary need direct access, you could just leave it that way. And advise them to replace the KVM when they get a chance.

I have a client that has an issue with a Windows 2003 Server. &nbsp;They had to move the server on the rack so they shutdown. &nbsp;When they rebooted the system back up they were able to log on just fine. &nbsp;Normally the server will lock out on it's own and you need to hit the CTRL+ALT+DEL to gain access again. &nbsp;Well currently when you go to the server you have mouse control but a blank blue screen that is missing CTRL+ALT+DEL box. &nbsp;The server is functioning just fine as it's the email server. &nbsp;I can also Remote Desktop the server just fine. &nbsp;I just haven't ever seen this type of behavior.
