Tried that but it didn't make any difference. The problem is only manifesting itself where some mails are concerned. These mails seem to be sent in plain text.

The messages are received from specific websites/people. They arrive perfectly legible in plain text. If I reply or forward them, the copy in my inbox is illegible, as is the recipient copy.<br />

Tried all of the above.....still producing arabic/chinese! I have even tried re-installing with Office 2007. I have restored the system to a point before this began....still forwarding crap.<br />

When using Outlook 2007 to forward a plain text message I can change the format to HTML before I send it. The chinese/arabic is now gone.<br />
