For the last couple of years I've used a Linksys Music Anywhere system...a very vanilla USB-to-audio connection. Even had it working with Win7 for the last couple months. Come to think of it...perhaps it was all that Win7 goodness that overwhelmed it because it's quit working and i now need to replace it.<br />

My needs couldn't be more basic....i just want to connect my laptop's audio output to my home av receiver. Don't need HD...don't need video...shouldn't need to spend more than a hundred bucks.<br />

I'm close to pulling the trigger on a Linksys WMP54G but the Vista support is reported to be suspect. Anything else worth considering?
