I'm not clear on what you mean when you say &quot;not in sequence&quot;. &nbsp;Does that mean the individual pages of the attachments are interleaved (e.g. 2 pages from attachment A, then 1 from B, another from A, etc.) or that the attachment pages are all together, but the attachments aren't in the same sequence as you see them in the message (e.g. attachment B prints, then A, then C, etc.)?

The attachments seem to print with all pages together for the same document. However, they are not together with the email they belong with. &nbsp;The first time I tried the macro, I tried it on the whole 1371 emails. It printed all the attachments as the emails were spooling. (I then edited your code, removing the attachment references, and found that my machine created processes in task manager for all 1371 messages before printing the first one.)<br />
The ideal scenario would be for all attachments to print right after the email they are attached to, as in<br />

Attachments for Email 1<br />
Email 2<br />
Attachments for Email 2<br />
I found another post on here where you addressed this as being difficult. I was using the code you posted for batch printing emails and attachments from msg files in a windows folder. If there is a way to &nbsp;do it from within an outlook mail folder, I'd be interested in that too. <br />
A good second best solution would be to have the file name print somewhere on the attachment so one could at least go back and sort the attachments manually.<br />
Thank you for your effort and attention to this. I work and a &nbsp;law firm, and I have seen several assitants sit around for hours manually printing emails and attachments one &nbsp;by one.

I'm not sure there is a solution for this. &nbsp;The problem is that printing is a &quot;fire and forget&quot; type process. &nbsp;The script says &quot;print the message&quot; and moves on. &nbsp;There's no command for &quot;print the message and wait for it to finish&quot; before moving on. &nbsp;Even if I can devise a way of synchronizing the printing I'd be concerned about the impact on Outlook. &nbsp;Scripts run on the same thread that Outlook runs on. &nbsp;Pausing the script to wait for an item and all of its attachments to print would freeze Outlook. &nbsp;That might no be too much of a problem for a couple of messages with small attachments, but it would be a huge problem for a large number of messages and their attachments, especially if any of the attachments are large. &nbsp;<br />

Outlook does not have a mechanism for adding the message information to the attachment so you can match the message to its attachments. &nbsp;That'd require the code to open each attachment in its native program and adding that information to the file. &nbsp;It's impractical if not impossible. &nbsp;<br />

Let me think about it for a bit and see if I can come up with a solution.

It's great to be able to batch print everything, but the attachments by themselves sometimes don't give any indication what the file name is, which is thie only reference to them in the message. &nbsp;All things considered, it's still quicker to batch print the emails, &nbsp;extract the attachments from the msgs (found a macro to do that too,) &nbsp;and then flip through the printed emails and print the attachments by name. Sure would be nice to make it that last mile, but I understand if it just isn't in the cards. <br />
&nbsp;Here's a thought. Since I can extract the attachments, and they're mostly word, excel, and .pdf files, can I batch print those by application and put automated headers on them?<br />

The new code implements a very crude printer monitor. &nbsp;After each print command in the original code I added a call to this routine. &nbsp;This code checks the designated print queue to see if there are any jobs still being printed. &nbsp;If there are, then it loops until the job is finished. &nbsp;This should force one job to finish before the next one starts. &nbsp;That should keep the print in order. &nbsp;The downside is that it's going to slow the process enormously. &nbsp;
