Tto run R65 you will need either IPSO 4.1 or 4.2 - your IP350 will support the latest build of the IPSO 4.2 OS which is IPSO 4.2 build 096 so yes, IPSO needs to be upgraded first.<br />
<br />
YOu will need to have the 4.2 package downloaded from Nokia and the R65 Checkpoint wrapper from the CP site.<br />
<br />
Start the install from the IPSO bootmanager prompt (bootmgr&gt; install) and follow the onscreen instructions, you'll need an FTP server to serve up the ipso tgz package.<br />
<br />
Once that's done, configure an interface and log on through the voyager GUI to ftp and install the CP wrapper onto the box.<br />
<br />
This does require a from-scratch install so it would be nice if you had a spare IP350 around to install on to minimise the downtime but otherwise I would reckon with 1 days downtime to cover yourself.<br />

Can you provide the link on the CP website to locate ware i can download the software &nbsp;as I am unable to locate he wrapper for ipso, I am assuming the wrapper will be in the same format &nbsp;tgz ?<br />

I have installed a new ipso version 4.2 and when I try to install CP newpkg -i<br />
I got the following error msg.<br />

newpkg is for installing the IPSO OS - use the voyager GUI for CP installation:<br />

Look in the System menu for &quot;Manage Packages&quot; - here you can &quot;FTP and Install Packages&quot; - fill in the ftp credentials and the nokia will then ftp the package across and you can then select it to install.
