Your best approach may be to use FPDF - in my experience it is very useful and it gives you precise control of data placement. &nbsp;You can set fonts, sizes, etc. 
 
If you want to post the code I'll be glad to take a look at it. &nbsp;In the mean time, have a look at FPDF.org.

You don't need to &quot;convert&quot; it to a PDF as such. The data is a PDF file encoded to allow easy transmission. 
 
The encoding is base64 (<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Base64" rel="ugc">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Base64</a>) 
 
So, once you've decoded it, the data is actually the binary of a PDF. Just save it or send it to the browser with the appropriate headers (both shown in examples above).
