asked on

sendmail not accepting outside email

Hi.  Recently i moved my email servers to a new location thus changing their ip address.  I still have a couple of servers that need to receive mail from one of the servers that was moved, but when monitoring it's /var/log/maillog, i get:

Mar  3 10:53:46 MAILSERVER sendmail[1093]: n23GrkQv001092: to=EMAILADDRESS@MY.DOMAIN.COM, delay=00:00:00, xdelay=00:00:00, mailer=esmtp, pri=31010, relay=MY.DOMAIN.COM [XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX], dsn=4.0.0, stat=Deferred: Connection refused by MY.DOMAIN.COM.

i have changed the DNS settings in resolv.conf on all the servers that were left behind and was able to resolve outside domain names to their correct ip addresses.

Also, on a side note, outbound messages are fine, i just can't receive any.

i have attached the /etc/mail/access file on one of the servers that was left behind (SERVER A) and the server that i get the above message from.

Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks!
