I have a customer who is having difficulties with Outlook and catagories in her contacts. &nbsp;She wants to input contacts and put them into different catagories such as Cardiology, Critical Care, etc. &nbsp;The problem occurs when we attempt to sort by the view 'By Catagory.&quot; &nbsp;When I tested at home I added multiple contacts to different catagories and selected the &quot;By Catagory&quot; view. &nbsp;When I did that I automatically sorted my contacts into collapsable groups. &nbsp;When I do it on hers folowing the same steps it just sorts them in some bizarre fashion that doesn't make sense. &nbsp;If I change the view from &quot;By Catagory&quot; to &quot;By Company&quot; then it sorts the contacts properly with collapsable groups.<br />

Microsoft Outlook is a personal information manager from Microsoft, available as a part of the Microsoft Office suite. Although often used mainly as an email application, it also includes a calendar, task manager, contact manager, note-taker, journal, and web browser.
