Machine is laptop Toshiba Tecra R10-10S with Mobile Intel® GMA 4500MHD graphic card.<br />
Problem is visible on laptop display but on external monitor much much stronger.<br />

This &quot;better&quot; situation that some text are readable are after changed all fonts in Advanced Appearance from default Vista Segoe UI to default XP font &quot;Tahoma&quot;.<br />

Question is why default font on Vista are blurred, no sense ?? <br />
Tested on 2 different laptop's, 2 different monitors, same situation.

I was just looking at this (you might find Dotum is better still as an alternate system font!) &nbsp;It looks as if the issue is with parts of the UI using ClearType correctly and others ignore it :(

In Windows Vista are fonts blurred. Turning ClearType Off helps but some fonts are still blurred.<br />
Please see attached picture, and see that &quot;Subject&quot; are blurred, and body of mail are ok.<br />
