I'm not sure what you are asking. &nbsp;Nameservers are initially setup through your registrar, which would be GoDaddy. &nbsp;Are you using Plesk on a shared server, or dedicated server? &nbsp;Are you wanting to create &nbsp;a default DNS package for the entire server? &nbsp;Or just add name servers to your single website?

Here is the history of the situation. My website was registered and hosted by GoDaddy, when it became obvious that I would need a dedicated server, I switched to another company (EukHost), now, at this site - I have to set up (register) nameservers for this hosting. I go through this process in Plesk 9 (on my new server) but when I go to update the nameservers listed at GoDaddy, the system tells me that the nameservers are not registered although I've completed everything as described in Plesk 7 tutorials - even the Plesk site is useless in this matter!

Also, if you add something like ns1.domain.com, ns2.domain.com, keep in mind you should add those to the DNS of the domain also, for proper DNS.

Hi, I have a question please concerning the nameservers , I added them ( ns1 and ns2 ) to godaddy, and I test them by PING and they are working properly, but my website eg:www.mydomain.com doesn't appear, so I think I have problem with PLESK, can you tell me how I should configure the DNS of my server ?? and if the following old post that I found over the internet is good??<br />

I am trying to register new nameservers for my site that uses Plesk 9 as its control panel, I have only found tutorials for Plesk 7 on the internet and am looking for an up to date tutorial or walk through on how to properly do this! I have used the Plesk 7 tutorials (following them exactly, coping with the differences in issue, but following the tech &quot;spirit&quot; of the tuts, but still find when I try to change my name servers with my registrar (GoDaddy) that apparently, they are not registered.<br />
As an aside, the hosting package I have only supplies one IP address (of course I can add additional local IPS though)<br />
Please help me, my offline dev period is almost complete and I really want to get this site up and bug test it live ASAP.
